Privacy policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
Your files and text stay in your browser
PDF, Word (.docx), OpenDocument (.odt), text and Markdown files, and text you paste, are read entirely in your browser. They are never uploaded to our servers.
Web pages
When you ask to read a web page, its address is sent to our server, which downloads the page and returns only its title and text to you. We do not store the address or the page content. The address may appear briefly in our hosting provider's technical logs.
Data saved on your device
To let you pick up where you left off, your browser's local storage keeps your reading position (linked to a short fingerprint of the text, not the text itself), your reading speed and your light/dark theme choice. This data never leaves your device. You can erase it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.
Cookies
ADHD Reader does not currently set any cookies.
Changes
If this policy changes, for example if advertising is added, this page will be updated before the change takes effect.
